Humanities Teacher – Valencia, Spain

One of our clients near Valencia, Spain is looking to appoint a Humanities Teacher to start employment ASAP in October 2020 to cover a staff absence (Geography) and then a maternity cover (History) in January 2021. The private international school educates expatriate children from the UK, around the world plus the local community, following the UK National Curriculum from Pre-school up to Year 13.
The post involves teaching Geography and History at IGCSE, preparing them for the Edexcel exams.
You will be an excellent Humanities practitioner with a broad range of teaching and learning strategies and up-to-date knowledge of the UK curriculum to join their team of educators.
The city of Valencia, on the Mediterranean coast, is the third largest in Spain. It is a lively place, with an interesting mixture of old and new. It has a range of theatres, art galleries and museums and a lively nightlife with many bars and restaurants. It is very much a Spanish city with traditional fiestas and celebrations being very important.
A competitive salary (Approximately 28,000 Euros)

CPD / Career opportunities
Recent UK GCSE History & Geography teaching experience
Degree and/or recognised teaching qualification (CERT ED / PGCE / BA Hons QTS)
Knowledge of the UK Curriculum
Minimum of 1 Years’ experience
